On June 25, Moscow hosted the GlobalCIO Picnic 2026, a summer event of the Global CIO professional community that annually gathers IT executives, digital leaders, and technology partners in a fundamentally different format. Instead of strict regulations and conference rooms, live communication, a rich program and an atmosphere in which the quality of networking is not inferior to any professional conference.

The Right line company became a guest of the Picnic. In informal conversations with colleagues in the market, the topics of import substitution, data management, digitalization and the formation of strong IT teams were discussed. The topic of DBMS administration turned out to be one of the most lively, especially in the context of the transition to domestic platforms.

The business program of the picnic was built around the central discussion “Mind games: AI, data, security, sovereignty.” The participants discussed four interrelated areas: the development of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, data management and technological sovereignty. The topic of data management turned out to be particularly resonant: in the context of a large-scale transition to domestic platforms, the issue of reliable database maintenance is becoming more significant and serious.

Неформальный формат мероприятия позволил выйти за рамки стандартного делового общения и установить контакты, которые в конференционной обстановке складываются значительно труднее, когда все сосредоточены больше на выступления и докладах. А такие встречи как раз дают возможность просто поговорить без спешки на действительно важные для компаний темы.
