Results:
We conducted an express audit and developed a migration strategy for each database. We have created a fault-tolerant Oracle infrastructure on new hardware. We provide extended technical support for all 9 databases.
● Migrate a 400+ GB database from a Docker container to a dedicated server and update the PostgreSQL version - without stopping the application and within the working day.
Results:
With the help of logical replication, the database was relocated with support for declarative partitioning and a large number of sequences. The total downtime was about 5 seconds — the application continued to work throughout the migration.
