On October 15, “Bankovskoye Obozreniye” (Banking Review) and “ProCFA” hosted a practical conference titled “Crypto on the Balance Sheet: Launching Under New Rules”—the first conference in Russia designed for those already operating, launching, or planning to launch a crypto-related business.

The program covered the entire market landscape: from the customer journey and transaction tagging to the actual costs of deploying infrastructure.

Key topics included:

• Customer journey: onboarding, custody, and transactions;
• KYT (Know Your Transaction): transaction tagging and sanctions screening;
• The “Travel Rule”: data exchange between platforms;
• Cost of entry: how to assemble and launch infrastructure.

Speakers included representatives from regulatory bodies and relevant government agencies, executives from banks, brokerage firms, and digital depositories, as well as experts in compliance, blockchain analytics, sanctions law, crypto-infrastructure, and information security.
