Right line participated in the CNews Forum Cases: the Experience of IT Leaders
On June 18, Moscow hosted the CNews Forum Cases: The Experience of IT Leaders, one of the industry’s meeting venues for CIOs, government officials, and the country’s leading ICT companies.
On June 18, Right line attended the CNews Forum Cases: The Experience of IT Leaders. The event gathered over 1,200 participants and brought together about 120 reports in eight thematic sections. The central theme of the forum was the use of the latest technologies in the process of digital transformation: experts shared successful implementation cases and spoke honestly about the lessons learned from mistakes.
Right line participated in the forum as a delegate. The team focused on DBMS administration issues, a service area that the company is actively developing in the outsourcing format and which has aroused great interest among the participants.
The forum’s program covered a wide range of areas: from digital transformation and import substitution to digitalization of trade, industry and information security. This year, the organizers focused on expanding the space for discussions and informal communication — it is in this format that the most productive professional dialogues are often born between customers and suppliers of IT solutions.
Representatives of the Right line noted that the topic of qualified database maintenance turned out to be among the most relevant in the conversations of the forum participants.
“Companies implementing large-scale digital transformation projects are increasingly experiencing a shortage of specialists capable of ensuring stable operation and seamless migration of critical systems in the new infrastructure,” comments Pavel Shmelev, Director of the Right line Service Products Department.
The Russian DBMS market continues to grow steadily: by the end of 2025, its volume amounted to about 58 billion rubles — 57% of the total market for management and data processing systems of 101.9 billion rubles. At the same time, the market is moving into a phase of mature competition: customers’ attention is shifting from primary import substitution to ensuring reliability, predictable performance and compliance with regulatory requirements.
In this context, professional database administration outsourcing is becoming a strategically important tool. Creating your own competence center for DBA specialists is a resource-intensive task, and the cost of an error in system management can be in the tens of millions of rubles.
