On 24 April, the annual conference ‘Fintech in Security 2024’ was held in LOFT HALL at ZIL International Exhibition Centre. The event was attended by information security managers and specialists, IT specialists, as well as owners and top managers from banking, financial organisations, insurance and others.

Within the framework of the meeting the participants discussed information security issues in the banking sector, in particular, much attention was paid to the topics of security at the software development stages (SSDLC), estimated confidence level 4 (AUD4), as well as PCI SSF (Software Security Framework) security standards and changes in the new version of PCI DSS (Data Security Standard) 4.0.

Igor Milokumov, Right line IT Director, took part in the discussion on ‘Information Security in Software Development Processes’. The speaker answered questions about why Right line started working with OUD4, emphasising the importance of using SSDLC in the software development process, and also separately dwelt on the issues of PCI SSF use:

‘First of all, OUD4 is necessary for our customers because it is a requirement of the regulator. We try to simplify their lives on the one hand, and on the other hand – to demonstrate the product security.

We work with banks and security issues are a priority for us. SSDLC allows us to conduct security testing in parallel with development, significantly reducing the project implementation time’.
