Starting from September 1, 2027, banks with a universal license that are not among the credit institutions required to ensure transactions with digital rubles in the first phase will need to connect to the digital ruble.

Starting from September 1, 2028, the relevant requirements will apply to banks with a basic license. For trade and service enterprises, the obligation to accept digital rubles will also be expanded in stages.
