On June 10, the Right line team took part in the XV NSPK Technology Conference in Moscow. The event focuses on the development of the Mir payment system, the Fast Payment System, the biometric services platform, and anti—fraud issues. More details later in our report.
Paying with a smartwatch without the Internet
One of the most notable announcements of the conference is the launch of a smartwatch payment service, which is scheduled for the second half of 2026. The key feature is that payments will work even without an internet connection. All necessary information is delivered to the device’s chip in advance. Payment is made in one touch with the terminal via the Mir Pay app. At the same time, the NSPK is testing tokenization on a chip of wearable devices: rings, bracelets, and key chains.
Universal QR and B2B payments using banking details
Starting from September 1, 2026, the use of a single QR payment code from the NSPK becomes mandatory. Also, in August 2026, it is planned to launch a pilot of a new B2B payment scenario in the SBP – payment by banking details.
New premium product Mir Ultra
NSPK has announced a product for the private banking segment — Mir Ultra. It will be available to banks in the fourth quarter of 2026, will be available for all form factors and will offer the highest IRF in the Mir payment system line — up to 2.5%.
Anti-fraud and security
The NSPK fraud monitoring system analyzes all transactions within the Mir payment system. From July 2026, systemically important banks will begin transferring a new set of risk indicators for operations to the SBP, and from October, all other participants in the system will join them.
“The conference made a very positive impression: high-quality materials, professional reports and productive communication during breaks.
Every year, the NSPK highlights new growth points for the market. For us, participating in such an event is an opportunity to compare the course with industry colleagues and come back with specific ideas.”
